This age old question remains today - Why does our all powerful, all loving God, allow evil? Hell if I know! Just kidding, lol, my sense is that coming to the peace of God amidst suffering and strife is a personal choice that takes humility. God is forgiving but can not choose for us to repent for and surrender our sinfulness. And besides, a world without sin, is that not heaven? What amazing things in our lifetime has God made or enabled us to make right in this world? What next level God-mazingness is unfolding or imminent?

God is, in power & might, closer to a force of nature, a stormy whirlwind, than "He" is to being human. Even though we are protected and rest in Him as our Heavenly Father, God is not a man! Imagine ... the clouds are the DUST of his feet!
I am grateful that the Lord will not let the guilty go unpunished. Other than following laws, we must not burden ourselves with the drama and violence of avenging evil doers. Those who continue with wrong doing after being told & disciplined, need an even firmer hand for choosing to become free of their iniquitous ways. This Micah Bible verse jumped out at me as healing because it is so straightforward. God gives us clear directions and guidance and it is good advice :) Imagining we are eternal beings getting lifetimes to experience everything, we can perhaps better understand alternate perspectives and what it means to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God.
These verses from Micah are healing for me because they remind me to trust God and to learn directly from God rather than from someone who doesn't honour God but pries into God's business.

God's Way...I am writing this blog to highlight Bible verses that I experience as especially healing and relevant for daily guidance. My journeys in life have been truly amazing. Chronic illness with ME/CFS, as difficult as it is, continues to take me wild and loving places for healing. Archives
